Union Pacific Railroad: Patriotic Company or Corporate Giant?

This subject can be extremely debatable. I'm at a dilemma with the UP. Whether you love the railroad or hate it, it IS the biggest railway company in the United States and is the ONLY MAJOR railroad in the US that hasn't changed its name. To some, it is a patriotic company that loves the country and proudly supports the American Flag (which is painted on the sides of the railroad's diesel locomotives). To others, it is a corporate giant, and is hated by those who loved the other railroads that it bought out during I personally call the "Mega-Merger Period" (1964-1996 with Railroads like The Missouri Pacific, Western Pacific, Chicago and Northwestern, and Southern Pacific being bought out by the UP during the 80s and 90s).

Personally it's a split 50/50 for me. But what's your guys' opinion on the Union Pacific? Tell me in the comments down below.

Thanks.

Hmm, I'm not sure. Who did they endorse in the 2016 federal election?
