Historical fact: There is controversy as of who killed the Red Baron. Some people argue that Captain Roy Brown, a Canadian pilot, shot him down. Others argue that an Australian machine gunner from the ground shot him down. Really, in some respects, it really didn't make any difference. The Red Baron was dead on the day he was brought down.

I doubt we will ever find out for certain as of who actually who shot down and killed Manfred von Richthofen, but I digress. Maybe someday we will.
